Indiana Limestone treads are used extensively as step treads, mantels, hearths, and copings for residential and commercial architectural projects across North America. Quarried from our home in Southern Indiana, our treads offer the timeless durability you’ve come to expect from Indiana Limestone products. Our limestone treads are packaged in a bundle of 14 pieces per pallet, stacked on edge for easy transportation and unloading. The stone treads are supplied on pallets or timbers that protect the finished stone from touching the ground. Indiana Limestone Company offers stone treads in a range of sizes. All are available in a thicknesses of 2″ and 2 1/4″ , a 12″ width, and in lengths from 3′ to 8’.

Specialty finishes can add drama and sophistication to your next natural stone project. Indiana Limestone is proud to offer three new stunning specialty finishes for our pavers and treads. Each offers a distinct look and feel, combined with the unique natural beauty of Indiana Limestone.

Bush Hammer

A rough, pockmarked texture that resembles naturally weathered rock.

Sandblast or Abrasive

A smooth abrasion, which leaves the material with a slightly scratched (but not rugged) surface.

Wire Brush

Uses a coarse rotary wire brush that simulates natural wear over time.

Light to medium shades of gray with some veining and grain movement visible in the face and fine to medium grained stone.
